According to Weber and Kelley (2018), the types of assessments include initial comprehensive assessment, the ongoing or partial assessment, a focused or problem-oriented assessment, and the emergency assessment. Even though I have performed all these assessments in my practice, the ones that I commonly perform include the initial comprehensive assessment and ongoing/ partial assessment. The initial assessment encompasses the initial collection of subjective and objective data of patients presenting to the clinic.
