After collecting data, the next important step in research is analyzing the data. Descriptive and inferential statistics are commonly used to analyze quantitative data. As the name suggests, descriptive statistics refers to data analysis that enable the researcher to describe, show, or summarize data in a meaningful way (Houser, 2018).
