Solution:
The United States of America has a representative democracy, implying that the citizens in the country choose their leaders through a free and fair electoral process (Whitman Cobb, 2020). The US government is comprised of three branches: the legislature, executive, and the judiciary. All the branches work together but they are independent of each other. The legislature branch is bicameral as it is made up of the senate, which is the upper house, and the House of Representatives, which is the lower house. The senators are elected after every six years, and each state has two senators regardless of the population. The congressmen and congresswomen represent various congressional districts and they are elected after every two years. This paper will focus on my congress leaders from the State of New Jersey. My two senators are Robert Menendez, who is the senior senator, and Cory Booker, who is the junior senator. Both senators are from the Democratic Party. At the House of Representatives, I am represented by Bonnie Coleman of NJ’s 12 the congressional district and she is from the Democratic Party. However, I am interested in Robert Menendez, and thus, he will be the main focus in this paper…..Please click here to download at $10
